This vent description might get a bit more heavy and personal than usual.. you've been warned~

I feel like I reveal a lot of my success on dA. My schooling, my biology, my falconry, daily life and whatnot. I am so humbled by my blessings, and perpetually thankful. However, there's a side of me not many people experience... A doubting side; a side that is constantly anxious and worried. A cowardly side. A side that's been substantially abused. A side that has experienced tragic loss. A side in which I've been called a hypocrite for being both a biologist and someone who believes in God. A side in which I've hurt others and pushed them away. A naive, shy side. A selfish side. A side that has made so, so many mistakes. A side that can't forgive herself. A side that looks in the mirror and truly hates what she sees most days. A side that has demons at the door.

But I just keep fighting, it's all I can do. There's a side that sees the glimmer of hope, of heaven, of love, and hangs on for dear life. And you know what? You can fight, too!

Whatever demons you're battling today, know full well that you aren't alone in your battle. We will conquer them, together. <3
