Dec. 2016 QuillDog LItter!

Trial Commission QuillDog Litter! The last litter I’ll be producing in 2016! (However, a new litter is expected in January!!) I was approached by the lovely :star-waffle: owner of Danaus, and Larkathewolfofheaven, owner of Marsh, if I could consider doing a QuillDog litter commission! I thought we’d give it a trial run—hope you guys enjoy this! <3

The parents of this December 2016 QuillDog litter are Danaus and Marsh! Danaus is originally #6 from the litter of Keira-woof’s Sulai and Star-Waffle’s Aasiyah: “Stern and somewhat unappreciative; is rather annoyed by his siblings’ presence. Aggressive and untamed. Always defensive, and cannot wait to get away from his father’s temple. Has the ability to expel and manipulate choke and cough-inducing smoke from his maw. Is typically darker-minded and isn’t afraid to “get down with the dogs” to get what he wants—power and freedom.” Marsh was originally a custom design for a client, and doesn’t have a description by me, but Larkathewolfofheaven describes her as "sweet, caring, wise , charming, dedicated , deep, and elegant."  

Pup Descriptions:

1. “Arah.” Female. Her siblings all think she’s similar in looks to her mother, with the exception of some darker blue hues. She’s the eldest of the bunch, and one of the most lanky. She’s also a rather anxious soul; always aiming to please—even at the expense of her own comfort. Her worry and overreactive nature has sometimes been confused for being stuck-up.

2. “Arho.” Male. The eldest male, and second-born of the bunch, Arho is a natural born leader and isn’t afraid to push his littermates outside of their comfort zones when needed. He’s also naturally protective, and a valiant QuillDog when need be. Because he firmly believes few things can excuse making progress, he’s sometimes a bit too hard on his siblings.  

3. “Rasev.”Male. This green-hued beauty is calm, cool, and collected. He’s the one that many of the pupmates go to when they need advice, and he’s viewed as a comforting, hard-working soul. Rasev is the one that stays up a bit later than the others to complete work that needs to be done, without complaint; he’s selfless and a bit of a pushover.

4. “Sahmi.” Female. Sahmi is one of the darker pups—both in pelt and mind. She’s not easily amused, and often rolls her eyes at her siblings’ shenanigans. She’s naturally a loner, and although she has a bright mind, she is considerably lazy! She values comfort, and enjoys sleep. However when in times of need, she’s known to hatch and execute brilliant plans (so she can returned to her forever-annoyed self again!).

5. “Iske.” Male. Iske is known for his beautiful flaming spine, and he’s a bit cocky and a showoff! He’s definitely confident, and maybe a bit egotistical. His attitude has gotten him into trouble a few times, but his spirit is relentless! He has little trouble getting back to his old self. He’s a bit dense, though, but would go out of his way to help his littermates. His littermates have given him the nickname, “Mooni,” due to his incomplete ring marking on his forehead.

6. “Laus.” Male. Laus seemed to have inherited the subtle tones of green and yellow. He’s the youngest male of the bunch, and is poked fun at by his elder brothers. He takes it in stride, though, and is very down to earth. He’s viewed as reliable and generally kind, but is excitable about the things he loves—particularly going after fish in the creek!

7. “Sua.” Female. Sua is laid back and carefree. She’s a dreamer, and finds it difficult to stay serious! She has no issue wandering off to look at the stars or run alongside the winds. Somehow, she always has a smile upon her maw, and can roll with the punches easily. Easily amused and spunky, her siblings are always raised by her spirits. She’s the second-to-last born in the bunch, and also sports somewhat diluted colors.

8. “Rahe.” Female. The runt of the bunch, and also has diluted colors. She’s secretly envious of her eldest sister, who got the blue hues, and her jealous side sometimes shows itself in little bouts of rage! She’s quick and snappy, and her bite is definitely as bad as her bark. She’s quite flexible and nimble-pawed, which makes her little spitfire self somehow graceful and poised. An odd juxtaposition, indeed!

Since the parents are owned by Star-Waffle and Larkathewolfofheaven, I gave them first pick! They chose #4 and #1 , respectively.

You will have up to 24 hours to pay after the bid closes; if you fail to pay within the 24 hours, the next highest bidder will have a chance to pay and obtain the design. What you see is what you will receive; you will also be given ONE PNG file of your pup. You are able to utilize this design for anything you please, from roleplay to other artwork and beyond-- with the exception of breeding (however, exceptions can be made to the breeding rule-- please note me if interested)!
